Here is a peek at a few things I have been working on...
This stack of flannel is about to become Christmas gifts (and by "about to" I mean sometime in the next couple of months).
I *love* Fall. It's my very favorite time of year. To me, these fabrics are very "fall".
I've been holding onto these, waiting for the perfect project to use them on. Or maybe I'll just leave them stacked up right here on my desk and enjoy their loveliness :)

We spent this past weekend in Green Cove, VA with my husbands parents and niece. We rode bikes on the Creeper Trail, hiked at Grayson Highlands, watched the sunset from White Top mountain, played in the creek, went for walks, ate, talked, laughed, explored, relaxed and drank lots and lots of coffee. It was a wonderful weekend. There's just something about being in the mountains...

Thanks to my incredible husband, this blog is up and running. Rather than us just sitting around talking about how I need to get this blog up and running. A few months ago I discovered that I love to sew. About a month after that, Scott (the incredible husband), bought me a sewing machine for my birthday. So today, here I am. Blogging and sewing and hoping to (very soon) open up my own little online shop...all things that I never. ever. even remotely thought that I would do. But life certainly turns out differently than we plan. Welcome to mine!
