A Month of Thanksgiving: Alone Time

I am by nature a person who likes to have alone time.

I'm not saying that I'm an introvert. Quite the opposite really. I love to be with friends and family, but I also really love time to myself.
Thankfully, I have a husband who recognizes that it's important (and necessary) for my sanity.
Every evening he comes home from work and asks, "what are your plans for tonight? Do you need to get out?". Every single evening. Of course, I don't go off every evening, or even most evenings. But it's amazing that he asks. That he wants to know how my day was, and if I need a break. I am truly lucky to have such a wonderful husband.

What are you thankful for today?

  1. Girl, I am right there with you. As well as alone time, sometimes I just need girl time. It is so great to have supportive and caring husbands.

  4. yes, that is a good man you got there. :~D Chuck does the same for me. not everyday of course, since he's home with me everyday. but when he's sees me starting to stress with the kids and stuff, he's usually quick to pick up on it. :~)
