Over the weekend I made a batch of peppermint bark, packaged it up in these cute bags I found at Target (of course!) and we delivered them to friends and family. I'm making another batch today to take to our neighbors. We have lived here since September, but haven't really met any of our neighbors. Well, except that kind lady who came over and killed the snake that was hanging out on our walkway. Because I don't get near snakes. God bless her.
Moving along...I thought it would be a good opportunity to meet them, and brighten their day a bit. It's just a small thing, I know. But sometimes it's the smallest things, the little thoughtful things, that put the biggest smile on my face.

ReplyDeleteI try to always take my kids to a store and let them choose an angel tree, it gets them thinking of another child's need and I hope they also realize just how much they already have, despite being foster children.
