Somedays, I just need a reminder...
...and today was one of those days. I love this. I want it to hang in my house somewhere, reminding me daily to live this life.

An Ode to Yellow Heart Art
I'm going to assume that by now you have all heard of Yellow Heart Art, and the adorable Leonora. I'm also going to assume that not only have you heard of her, but that you have also treated yourself to one of her prints, and that you follow her awesome blog. If the answer to any of those questions is no, then you best go remedy that situation immediately.
I own five of her prints. You heard me. FIVE. And I have at least three more in mind for the upcoming Swag Swap Week.

These two are hanging in my bedroom
My husband is a graphic designer, so I got this print for him to hang in his office
This dinosaur print was for my 3 year old. When he saw it, his little eyes lit up and he said, "can I pet him? Can I hold him?!". That child is seriously too adorable.
I recently re-did my 2 year olds room. Okay, not really re-did so much as finally did for the first time. I plan to post on that one day. I really do, because it turned out SO cute. This print found a home in his room.
As I was typing out this post, I thought...how fun would it be if I could offer one of Leonora's prints to one of my readers. So, I promtly e-mailed her, and she agreed. Because she's really sweet and amazing. Leonora is offering a 5x7 print of anything in her shop. To enter, visit Yellow Heart Art and then come back here and leave a comment telling me which print you would choose. For one extra entry, follow Leonora on Twitter and Tweet about this giveaway.

Saturday Snapshot
I took this picture a few months ago. Jackson & I met his Daddy (also my husband :) for lunch one day, and as we were leaving Jack called his Daddy back for a goodbye kiss. I'm so glad I captured this. It's one of my very favorite pictures of these two sweet fellas.
I'm linking up for the first time with Kim, from Yellow Songbird for Snapshot Saturday.

Handmade With Purpose
This month I am joining Lindsay of Paint Me A Picture, and over 20 other bloggers for Handmade With Purpose.
The following is Lindsay's vision for this event...
acknowledging creativity.
using our creativity to produce handmade goods.
selling our handmade goods for a profit.
taking our profit and giving back to our communities, those less fortunate, & those in need.
For the month of April I will be donating 30% of all sales from my shop to The Way of Hope. The Way of Hope is an organization that provides medical supplies and prosthetics to Hospital Shalom, which is located in San Benito, Peten, Guatemala. Having spent time doing missions related work in Guatemala, this charity and the people of this region are very dear to my heart. I made my first trip to Guatemala when I was 16, with a group from my church. Hospital Shalom was still in the early stages of construction, and I had the priviledge of being a small part of building this hospital. Since then, several teams from our church (and many others) have traveled to Guatemala to assist in building Hospital Shalom. The hospital not only serves the people of the town its located in, but also in outlying villages. I am honored and priviledged to be able to donate a portion of my proceeds to this organization.
Please take a few minutes to head over to the Handmade With Purpose blog & read up on the other shops participating, and the organizations they will be donating to.
