Market Totes & Mug Rugs

So long ago that she had probably come to believe I would never do anything with it, the lovely Aubrey from Aubrey Plays, sent me some of her adorable fabric. I chose this print because I loved the colors and cute design. It was difficult for me to decide what to make out of it. After considering several options, I finally decided to use a bit of it for pockets on a market tote. I love to go to the local farmers market on Saturday mornings, and I have wanted to make a cute (and roomy) tote to take along with me to carry all of my purchases. I thought this fabric would be a cute addition to such a bag.

There was a good bit of fabric leftover, so I made two mug rugs. My first thought was to put them in the shop, but I thought it would be more fun to give them away to one of you. So just leave a comment below for a chance to make one of these cuties yours :)

Aubrey designs her own fabrics and has several options available for purchase in her shop, along with a variety of other sewn items that are all too cute for words. So head on over and check it all out, and while you're there, use the code "ilovemom" for an amazing 25% off!
